The Gabrielson Clinic is an exceptional medical practice that cares for women of all ages. Our specialty is women's health. It's all we do, we can help. Whether you are expecting your first child, require an annual exam or simply want to discuss your health we are here for you.

Our Staff

Daniel M. Gabrielson - DO, FACOOG, OB/GYN
Dr. Dan Gabrielson received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central College in Pella. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Des Moines University and completed his OB/GYN residency program and internship at Midwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Gabrielson is a Board-Certified Diplomat of the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also on the clinical faculty at Des Moines University.  
 
Dr. Gabrielson has clinical interests in pelvic prolapse, incontinence, high risk obstetrics, and all gynecological surgery. He enjoys seeing the positive life changing outcomes of surgical interventions. Dr. Gabrielson holds clinics in Clarion, Webster City, and Humboldt.  Appointments can be made by calling The Gabrielson Clinic For Women.  
 
Dr. Gabrielson has two sons and two daughters. He enjoys golf and wrestling and was even a high school state wrestling champion! 

Emily Hill - OB/GYN, FACOOG
Dr. Hill received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She then earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Des Moines University, and completed her OB/GYN residency program at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Dr. Hill has clinical interests in high and low risk obstetrics, PCOS, sexual dysfunction, contraceptive care and all gynecological surgery. She offers both Nexplanon and Mirena IUD placement. She holds clinics in Clear Lake and Webster Ciy. She believes in treating all of her patients as if they were her own mother or sister.

Dr. Hill and her husband, Brian Engstler, have four children. She enjoys running, traveling, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. 

Krista Ysker - Women's Health Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
Krista received her Registered Nurse from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. In 2009 she recieved her Master of Science in Nursing and Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practioner degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. 
 
Krista works in collaboration with Dr. Gabrielson for all services related to women's health including: physical exams, pap smears, health and wellness counseling, contraceptive care, care before and after menopause and much more. She holds clinics in Clarion, Humboldt, Belmond, and Webster City.
 
Krista and her two children reside in Belmond. 

Paula Kruger - RN, BCLS, ACLS, NRP
Paula received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Iowa Central Community College in 1992. She is also certified as a Family Development Specialist and Breast Feeding Educator.

She has found her niche in Obstetrcis and Gynecology early in her career. Paula joined Dr. Gabrielson in 2007 as his primary nurse and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Gabrielson Clinic.

Paula's emphasis is in three main areas of women's health. Prenatal care, presenting surgical options and educating women. Her motivation and committment to our patients is truly making The Gabrielson Clinic the place to go for women's health care.

Daleacia Schechinger - Board Certified Sonographer
Daleacia received her Bachelors Degree in Health Promotion from the University of Northern Iowa in 2005. She received her training and earned her degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Nebraska Methodist College in May 2011.

Daleacia's skills allow her to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound related procedures. She specializes in abdominal, gynecological and obstetric ultrasound imaging. Daleacia is enthusiastic about providing a good environment and strives for the highest level of quality patient care.

Angela Lantzky - Medical Transcriptionist
Angela received her Associates Degree as a Medical Administrative Assistant from Hawkeye Community College in 2005.

Angela has experience working in multiple healthcare settings for the past 7 years including: ER/Clinic Admissions, Radiology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Health Information Management.  She previously worked as Dr. Gabrielson's secretary and now processes all transcriptions, assist in the clinic and performs clerical duties.

She is married with a son, enjoys playing & teaching piano lessons, spending time with family and supporting her husband as coach of the boy's basketball team at Clarion-Goldfield & Dows High School.

Lynne Odland - Clerical Receptionist/Clinical Assistant
Lynne received her Associates Degree as a Medical Assistant from North Iowa Area Community College.  

Lynne worked at the North Iowa Eye Clinic for 6 years before moving back to the area and getting married.  She was a stay at home mom until joining The Gabrielson Clinic in August of 2007.  She works in our Webster City office as our receptionist, schedules appointments and assists physicians in the clinic.

She is married with two sons and one daughter. In her free time she enjoys attending her children's extra curricular activities and scrap booking & card making.

Brittany Carlson - LPN
Brittany received her Practical Nursing degree from Iowa Central Community College in 2010.

She has worked in different specialties of nursing such as orthopedics, family practice, internal medicine, and psychology, but has found her passion in OB/GYN.

Brittany resides in Kanawha with her husband, Jake,  and their son. She enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors.

Brittany primarily works with Dr. Emily Hill-Engstler

Monica Forbes - PA-C
Monica Forbes, PA-C, completed the physician assistant program at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines in 1993. Monica is NCCPA board-certified in primary care and surgery.

She is knowledgeable about all aspects of family practice and especially enjoys working in women's health care; from young women through seniors. Monica has undergone continuing education classes on bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. She also finds skin care and dermatological conditions interesting. Additionally, Monica is on the Wright County Public Health Department Advisory Board and Infection Control Committee at Iowa Specialty Hospital-Clarion.

Monica is a board member in the Wright County Humane Society, and enjoys biking, swimming, music, her dogs, and is active in her church.

 

Randi Potter -
Randi received an Associate’s degree from Kirkwood Community College in 2010. She received her degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2012 from Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Her medical training was done at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Randi lives in Belmond, Iowa with her husband, Allen.  She enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her childhood dog, Maddie Jo.

Randi primarily works out of the Clear Lake office but also helps in Belmond and Clarion.
